Body Shop Technician

Camping World is seeking a Service Technician (Hourly) for our growing team. We are ideally looking for someone with advanced diagnostic and repair skills for Recreational Vehicle (RV) coach systems, generators and coach body repairs. Someone who is passionate about fixing mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and maintenance problems would be ideal. A successful Recreational Vehicle (RV) Technician will have strong attention to detail, be self-motivated and well-versed in all maintenance and repairs. Camping World will pay to certify individuals not already certified. If you have experience in Any or all of these following fields we want to talk to you: Plumbing-Carpentry-HVAC-Electrical-Mechanical-RV Service.What You’ll Do:

Provide and document complete diagnostic test and repair or replacement services to customers

Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance maintenance

Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements

Keep supervisor appraised of work progress

Ensure that the final work product meets quality standards and is inspected by supervisor or designee

Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers

What You’ll Need to Have for the Role:

Certification from college or technical school in trade field (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Maintenance, etc.) is certainly helpful but, we also consider applicable work experience

Minimum of 1-year service technician experience or related fields preferred

RVIA certification helpful but not required RVIA certification helpful but not required

Valid driver's license

May lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices

Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending

Exposure to heights and hazards related to working with electrical and welding equipment

Environmental conditions include heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust and wetness

Calibration Technician - Day Pay and Benefits: Hourly pay: $21/hr Worksite: Electronics Testing and Measurement Company (Roseville, CA 95747 - Onsite) W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL 40 hours/week, 24 Month Assignment Calibration Technician - Day Responsibilities: Work with clearly defined objectives on customer service assignments that may be repetitive in nature. Solve technical problems of limited scope and complexity. Perform adjustments, calibrations, and basic repairs. Escalate more difficult repairs to experienced technicians. Exhibit the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with wide range of people. Adhere to the highest standards of business ethics. Provide consistent, solid contribution to team and service center delivery goals. Exercise good discretion in the use of time and other resources. Maximize the use of existing assets, multi-tasks effectively, and ensure that our resources are used properly (i.e. connector care, ESD, ETE). Calibration Technician - Day Qualifications: 4+ years of related experience in the calibration and repair of electronic test equipment. Prior experience is strongly preferred. Aome education, specialized training/certification, or Military experience. Experience using automated calibration software platforms (STE, PC Based, METCAL, TME, ETMS etc) is a plus. Strong PC (MS Windows/Office) skills are a must. Requires excellent communication and organizational skills. Demonstrate electronic and mechanical competence. Calibration Technician - Day Shift: Monday to Friday from 06:00 AM to 02:30 PM.
