Back Servers are members of the restaurant dining room service teams and are trained to possess knowledge pertaining to our property, food, and beverage programs. The Back Server is responsible for serving the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by ensuring an outstanding and memorable dining experience for each guest. The Back Server plays a supporting role to the Server - Captain during Lunch and Dinner services.Facilitate the guest dining experience by taking orders, anticipating needs, and delivering all items efficiently.Relate with guests to ensure satisfaction with beverages and meals, maintaining a consistently heartfelt and high-quality service.Comply with Auberge Collection standards and make thoughtful suggestions for upselling unique menu items.Accurately and quickly take and place orders, input them into the POS system, and handle billing.Operate, maintain, and clean restaurant equipment and fittings.Ensure the restaurant/outlets are tidy, organized, and follow safe food handling procedures.The starting pay rate for this position is $16.90-$17.90 per hour plus tips. This is the pay rate for this position that Auberge du Soleil reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual pay will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.
