AWI Management Corporation, a property management company located in Auburn, CA, is seeking a highly experienced Accounts Payable professional to join our team. AWI manages over 200 apartment communities so accounts payable is high volume and quick paced. Each property is a separate legal entity so attention to detail is a must to ensure invoices are paid by the correct property, coded appropriately and paid timely. This is a full time position in our office – no remote work. The ideal candidate must have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills. Experience in the Property Management industry and familiarity with Timberline accounting software and AVID exchange or similar program is a plus.
This is an in person position. Remote work is not available.
Position is full-time, 40 hours per week.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years accounts payable - coding, verifying accuracy and payment processes
Must have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to handle vendor and staff inquires in a professional manner
High level of computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook)
10 key by touch
Accountability and integrity; friendly, professional demeanor; ability to get along with people
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Valid CA Driver's License and reliable transportation
Authorized to work in the United States
Qualifications:
Desire to excel as an accounts payable team member
Ability and willingness to take direction and follow through as directed
Ability to work independently, handling multiple projects while maintaining a positive attitude
Great verbal and written communication skills
Detail oriented with strong communication skills
Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
