Position Overview: The Assistant General Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the General Manager in the day-to-day management of the collision repair facility. This position involves assisting in operational oversight, staff management, and customer interaction to ensure efficient facility operations and high customer satisfaction.

Core Responsibilities:
Assist the General Manager in overseeing facility operations, ensuring compliance with Kniesel’s Standard Operating Procedures and safety protocols.
Help manage daily workflow and production schedules to meet efficiency and quality goals.
Support teammates during peak times by assisting customers, checking in vehicles, and writing estimates as needed.
Demonstrate proficiency in estimating and management software like CCC1, Mitchell, and Audatex and manage tasks effectively across platforms, including Nexsyis and CCC1.
Participate in the development and achievement of monthly sales targets and KPIs.
Contribute to staff training and development initiatives to ensure a highly skilled and motivated workforce.
Maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns that arise.
Assist in managing financial aspects of the facility, including budgeting, payroll, and invoicing.
Ensure the facility is maintained to high standards of cleanliness and organization.
Implement and monitor safety and compliance regulations within the workplace.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in collision repair management or a similar role.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a team.
Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficient in industry-related software and technology.
A valid driver’s license.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; higher education or vocational training in auto repair management preferred.
