Role Summary:
The Production Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting day-to-day operations at our Screen Printing & Embroidery company in Vacaville, CA. This position requires a detail-oriented and organized individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently and provide excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is someone who is eager to learn, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing and organizing the workflow of screen printing and embroidery projects to ensure timely completion and high-quality standards.
Provide exceptional service to customers by answering inquiries, providing updates on project status, and resolving any issues promptly.
Prepare and maintain materials and supplies necessary for daily operations.
Assist with the setup and operation of screen printing and embroidery machines under supervision.
Perform quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet the required specifications.
Collaborate with the design team to ensure artwork is correctly prepared and optimized for production.
Keep the workspace clean and organized, adhering to safety and maintenance protocols.
Perform administrative tasks as needed, including data entry, scheduling, and inventory management.
Delivering packages to UPS store or client offices.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in a relevant field is a plus.
Previous experience in a similar role or industry is preferred but not required.
Driver’s license necessary
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office) and willingness to learn industry-specific software.
A keen eye for detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Team player with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
Hours and Compensation:
The position is for a part time to full time role. The employee is required to work on Monday and Wednesday from 9am-5pm. The position will start at $18.50/hour.
