Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Accounting Specialist in Sacramento, California. The successful candidate will be part of a team where they will be responsible for managing accounts payable, handling invoices, and assisting with financial reports. This role is within the industry and will involve various tasks related to account management and administrative duties.Responsibilities: Processing and verifying receipts for services rendered and tracking payments received Responsible for accounts payable, including processing payments for vendors Handling invoice management and assisting with the preparation of quarterly and annual reports Assisting with federal and state tax deposits as well as W-2’s Maintaining accurate records of payments and account statuses Preparing daily general journal entries and assisting the accounting department with data input and corrections Researching and resolving account discrepancies and processing and recording transactions Performing administrative and clerical tasks, such as data entry, preparing invoices, sending bill reminders, filing paperwork, and contacting clients to discuss their accounts Monitoring incoming emails and depositing checks Generating reports and statements for internal use and assisting with reception duties as needed.
