This Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk position is at a dynamic organization with a growing team, and will require the candidate to match, batch and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. The opening for a permanent Accounts Payable Clerk is in the Sacramento, California area and has the potential to go HYBRID after training. Accomplish full-cycle A/P
Execute additional tasks as needed
Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis
Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs
Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling
Provide support during internal and external audits
Coding invoices
Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department
Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies
Requirements
1-2+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred
Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills
Tech savvy
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
