Description We are in the process of recruiting an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Sacramento, California. This role is integral to the financial operations of our business, primarily focusing on the management and collection of payments from our customers. The position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, making it ideal for those looking for a role that offers potential growth and long-term stability.Responsibilities: Collaborate with division project managers to ensure timely and accurate invoicing of all billable costs. Create and dispatch invoices in our ERP system, ensuring they meet all contractual requirements for timely payment. Monitor all customer billings and invoices, leveraging a strong understanding of customer’s project management platforms. Execute collection efforts to track and follow up on all invoices sent for timely payment. Compile invoices with all required back-up documentation and deliver to customers as required. Assist project managers with project invoice tracking and reconciliation. Maintain the Accounts Receivable Aging report on a weekly basis, keeping detailed notes of invoice status through to payment received. Create and maintain a weekly log of invoicing and week ending Accounts Receivable totals for each division you’re responsible for. Support the Accounts Receivable Manager with reporting tasks as needed. Step in to support Accounts Receivable staff in the absence of coworkers, demonstrating flexibility and team-oriented approach. Carry out ad-hoc duties in support of the accounting department as required.
