Become a part of our caring community and help us put health firstThe Associate Director, Business Systems Analysis performs analysis of business, process and user needs, documentation of requirements, cost/benefit analysis and translation into proper system requirement specifications. The Associate Director, Business Systems Analysis requires a solid understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across department(s).The Associate Director- Business Systems Manager will report into the Procurement Center for Enablement ('C4E') and manage a team responsible for deploying, maintaining, analyzing, and measuring the effectiveness of both new and existing Source to Pay and Procurement systems, and developing sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable business system related process improvements. The Manager of Business Systems will work within specific guidelines and procedures in partner with Information Technology; apply advanced technical knowledge to solve moderately complex problems; establish and overall strategic roadmap surrounding process and technology for Humana's Source to Pay operations and Enterprise Procurement and Supplier Management functions.Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Lead/Manage technical implementations focused on continuous process improvement, simplification, system enhancements, improving quality, governance, and controls, while maximizing resources and improving efficiency and productivity
Develop and determine project objectives, approach, resources, schedules, and goals.
Proven ability to lead, facilitate, prioritize, negotiate, problem solve, and inspire team members in a matrixed environment
Leverage internal and external resources, as part of the operating model, to deliver results in the most effective and efficient way
Work closely with Information Technology, Procurement Operations, Sourcing, Contracting, Category Management, Finance, and Corporate Payables to ensure a seamless end-to-end experience for associates
Bridge business and technical teams by being fluent in the language of consulting (business drivers, process), design (user-centric experience design), and technology (Big data, cloud strategy, Advanced data science, AI, ML)
Prioritize, problem-solve and address issues that arise, deliver guidance / training on processes and systems, provide subject matter expertise and insight on future projects and other initiatives that involve or impact Source to Pay functions and closely-knit business partners
Develop, execute testing strategies, and maintain DEV/TEST/PROD environments in multiple systems
Complete managerial responsibilities that include mid-year and year-end reviews, timesheet review/approval, PTO management, and one-on-one discussions as needed
Motivate, coach, engage, and develop associates
Serve as a systems subject matter expert resident on various cross-organization committees
Work cross functionally on integration acquisitions
Function as a Procurement systems liaison, partnering with associates from other business areas on special projects.
Identify and drive Source to Pay projects to solve problems, increase productivity, create visibility, and improve controls

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
7 or more years of experience in systems management, deployment (with business focus), implementation and program management
5 or more years of people management experience
3 or more years of technical process automation, project management, data analysis
Experience with tools such as Oracle, COUPA, Salesforce, iCertis, Microsoft PowerBi, SaaS applications
Experience working with big and complex Source to Pay systems environments, Finance and AP teams
Superb verbal and written communication to senior and executive leadership
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage medium, cross-functional teams of 5+ people
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Forward thinker and initiative-taker who thrives on new challenges, imagines solutions, and adapts quickly
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Power Point, Teams, SharePoint
Advanced in Microsoft Excel, Monday.com and other project management tools
Through understanding of business concerns to oversee translation into technical inputs
Proven relationship-building and maintaining strong working relationships with IT, and key stakeholders
Strong credentials and demonstrated success in Procurement systems strategy and Enterprise Architecture
Prior experience working in a system analytics and/or data warehousing environment
