We’ll rely on you to provide support to our teams on critical projects while fostering a culture of continuous learning and inclusion as you bring fresh ideas to the table.As a vital member of our Northern California team, you’ll have the opportunity to work on transportation projects that focus on bridge and other transportation structure design. Working alongside a team of technicians and engineers, you’ll be responsible for creating computer models, performing calculations of section properties and weight take-offs, preparation of calculations, and so much more.Our Structural (Bridge) Intern performs evaluations of structures of various degrees of complexity, prepares plans, designs, calculations and cost estimates under the supervision of experienced engineers, researches code issues and works with City, State, and County officials and researches design options and documents findings for Project Engineers and/or Project Managers.If you want to join a company invested in you, your success and the global community - join us as a Structural Bridge Intern. In pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited program

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

Ideally, you’ll also have:

3.0 GPA or better

Must be at least a rising Junior; students in pursuit of their Masters' degree are preferred

Working knowledge of AutoCAD and common structural analysis software (SAP, CSI Bridge, Midas, Leap Bridge, Xtract, etc.)

A previous internship related to your field of study

EIT Certificate

Self-driven time management and organizational skills

The base salary range for this position is $23.80 to $26.80 This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position.
