Serve as a security professional within Corporate Security focusing on managing direct security coverage for executive staff.

Work with key executive stakeholders and the Executive and Events Security Team managers to understand executive security objectives in and out of region and assist in arranging trip logistics and safe movement between destinations.

Support, organize, and manage executive security for Intel's Santa Clara, CA headquarters.

Create detailed security plans prior to each event or trip including risk assessments and recommendations.

When appropriate, visit locations to assess safety, transportation routes, locate venues, identify security risks, evaluate hotels, and recommend changes to event and trip plans.

Accompany Intel executives to provide security and assist in the seamless transportation between locations working closely with Sr. level managers around the world.

Work and interact with senior executives, other external VIP's including high level government officials, corporate executives and individuals from the entertainment business.

Lead, organize and manage security for various internal or external events where Intel is the host, sponsor, or participant.

Work with internal and external event managers, venue management and security, as well as other internal and external key stakeholders to ensure the safety and security of executives, Intel employees and assets.

Regularly communicate with Executive and Event Security Managers to ensure continuity of support and alignment of objectives.

Support, influence, and lead cross functional teams with strong project management and communications skills.

Support the documentation of security plans for Intel events, i.e. consumer shows and sales conferences.

Ensure contract security resources are identified and provide contractually agreed services during events and assist with all security related matters during the event.

Interface with venue security or local law enforcement as appropriate.

Work closely with Intel site security personnel and provide basic event and close protection security training as needed.

Achieve and maintain annual training and certification in the areas of medical and protective security operations.

Understand and ensure compliance with all Intel, local, and venue protocols as required.

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.Minimum Qualifications:Candidate must have at least one of the following:

Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of relevant Executive Protection, Event Security, or equivalent security experience.

Master's Degree with 3+ years of relevant Executive Protection, Event Security, or equivalent security experience.

6+ years of relevant Executive Protection, Event Security, or equivalent security experience in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

Skills to assess quickly evolving situations (situational awareness) and appropriately modify plans to ensure success.

Knowledge in: Protection strategies, tactics, and technology. Ability to assess risks to personnel and assets and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.

Willingness to: Provide short term medical attention until professional medical services are available.

Travel and work long hours while executing at the highest level of discipline.

Be away from home for extended periods of time.
