Description We are in search of a Director of Finance to join our Manufacturing team based in Sacramento, California. In this role, you will be expected to manage the financial operations within the company, oversee the use of Accounting Software Systems and ensure the financial stability of the organization. Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning systems to streamline and integrate financial processes. Develop and manage the company's annual budget and ensure all departments adhere to it. Conduct regular auditing for financial transparency and regulatory compliance. Implement and manage budget processes to monitor expenditures and income. Use knowledge of CPG and Manufacturing Cost Accounting to make informed financial decisions. Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action. Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take. Maintain the financial health of the organization. Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.Requirements Proven track record in a senior finance role within the manufacturing industry Expertise in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems Strong knowledge and experience in all accounting functions Ability to develop, monitor and control annual budgets Experience in auditing and the ability to ensure compliance with financial laws and guidelines Understanding of budget processes within a manufacturing environment Knowledge of Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry Experience in manufacturing cost accounting Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Advanced analytical and strategic planning skills Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; advanced degree preferredRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
