Position Overview:The Driver/Stock Picker is responsible for pulling supply orders, restocking shelves, and the pickup and delivery of equipment and supplies from the Off-Site Distribution Center to Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento. This position maintains a log of deliveries with signature of receiving party. The incumbent receives, processes and documents all incoming shipments through the Lawson Materials Management system. The Driver/Stock Picker assures maintenance and cleanliness of delivery vehicle.Qualifications:Education: High School diploma or equivalent is requiredExperience: Must have one-year experience driving vehicles over twenty feet in length. Hospital background in distribution and purchasing preferred.Knowledge: Basic math skills and excellent written/oral communications skills required. Basic computer aptitude required. Must have the ability to read, write, hear and verbally communicate in English to the degree required to perform the job.Special Skills/Equipment: Must be proficient in material handling equipment and techniques. Must possess a valid class "C" driver's license. Must provide a current DMV printout free of any violations such as, DUI, DWI, reckless driving, not more than one moving violation in the last twelve months and no preventable accidents in the last twelve months.
