OverviewGovCIO is currently hiring for a GIS Developer SME to lead the development and implementation of an integrated GIS solution inside of a preexisting end-user system. This position is a fully remote position.Responsibilities
Participate in the design and requirements gathering for a GIS integration with an existing end-user system
Lead the implementation of a GIS integration, including support other developers on the effort
Use data from existing system to create, populate, and manipulate map-based visualizations of that data
Training and Support of GIS users
General SME for GIS Technologies
QualificationsRequired Skills and Experience
Bachelor's with 5 - 8 years (or commensurate experience)
GIS-based technology Development and Implmentation
Leveraging large datasets integrated with GIS technology
Teaching/coaching others GIS technology
Preferred Skills and Experience
Javascript development experience
ServiceNow development experience
