The Category Manager will integrate with other members of Sutter Health's Strategic Sourcing staff to enhancethe direct involvement of clinical and administrative staff in the contracting and value management process in order to improvethe affordability of Ambulatory and Physician Foundation sites as measured by: Reduction of supply costs without any negative impact to operations; Increased participation of clinical leaders and staff; Improved clinician awareness and satisfaction with the decision process; Increased standardization of product selection and related clinical care processes; Enhanced reporting of both cost and quality; and Contract implementationJob Description :EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
Bachelor's: Accounting, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
8 years recent relevant experience.
