OverviewMercy Medical Group is seeking a PA or NP to join our orthopedic team in Sacramento, CA. Our growing orthopedic division is comprised of 7 surgeons, 2 sports med doctors, and 6 APPs.
Partner primarily with one experienced Orthopedic Surgeon to form a care team
NO CALL, NIGHTS OR WEEKENDS. Great quality of life!
Split time between clinic and first assist in OR (PA or NP with RNFA), but clinic only option available
Prior orthopedic experience is desirable, but not required
Excellent compensation and benefits
Compensation Range: $141,158 - $187,358 / Year

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including health history, physical examination, and diagnostic tests as needed
Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory studies
Prescribe medications and other treatments as necessary
Provide patient education and counseling on disease management, lifestyle modification, and medication adherence
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education programs to maintain and enhance clinical skills and knowledge
Qualifications
Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in California
NPI and DEA license
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
