Description Robert Half is search of a Patient Care Coordinator in Sacramento Area! As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless communication and coordination between patients, healthcare providers, and administrative staff. You will be responsible for managing the patient experience from the initial contact through treatment and follow-up, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and support.Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries, scheduling appointments, and assisting with any concerns.

Coordinate and communicate effectively with healthcare providers, ensuring a collaborative approach to patient care.

Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and medical history accurately.

Assist in the completion of necessary paperwork and documentation for patient registration and insurance claims.

Schedule and coordinate appointments, diagnostic tests, and follow-up visits, optimizing the efficiency of the healthcare delivery process.

Provide information to patients about treatment plans, medications, and other relevant healthcare instructions.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive and holistic approach to patient care.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with privacy regulations.

Address patient concerns and inquiries with empathy and professionalism.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of patient care processes and procedures.

High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.

Proven experience in a similar role within a healthcare setting.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance procedures, and healthcare regulations.

Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare management systems.

Compassionate and patient-focused with excellent interpersonal skills.

Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
