Description Shantel Poole with Robert Half has an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Administrator in the finance industry. The chosen candidate will be handling a range of tasks from overseeing agency notices and client requests, to managing year-end projects, and maintaining client financial information in our payroll software. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage agency notices along with client requests Directly handle year-end projects and tasks Execute weekly and monthly payroll taxes, ensuring follow-ups Be responsible for setting up client's general ledger and maintaining it in the payroll system Set up and maintain client's financial information in the payroll software Track and handle client tax issues efficiently Support clients in setting up new tax accounts, including out of state accounts Process out of state payroll tax payments diligently Assist with quarter and year-end processes Balance and process client NACHA files Daily review for negative invoices Collaborate closely with the Controller as part of a team Oversee the finance inbox on a rotational basis Manage Issue Trak twice a week.If you are interested in the role, please reach out to Shantel Poole at 916-649-0832 Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required for efficient data management and processing. Solid understanding of Accounting Functions to ensure accurate financial reporting. Proven experience in Auditing to maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial operations. Knowledge of Benefit Functions to effectively manage employee benefits and compensation. Familiarity with Payroll Taxes, as it is essential for accurate processing and reporting of employee earnings and deductions. Experience with QuickBooks for efficient financial management and payroll processing. Proficiency in Apex for optimizing payroll operations and ensuring compliance with regulations. Certification in Payroll Compliance is preferred to ensure adherence to payroll laws and best practices.
