Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Project Assistant in the Services industry. This position is located in Sacramento, California and will involve tasks related to organizing and coordinating a major fundraising event. Responsibilities: Coordinating with numerous volunteers and managing their assignments and schedules Handling various errands as part of event preparation and execution Attending the event on the designated date and providing necessary support Facilitating the process of requesting and receiving food donations for the event Conducting outreach activities, including distributing posters and sending emails Employing provided scripts for outreach activities to ensure effective communication Managing administrative tasks, including securing donations and other organizational duties Utilizing various software tools, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint for data entry and other tasks Organizing files and records, ensuring accuracy and efficiency Handling shipping functions as needed for event materials and donations. Requirements Demonstrated capability in Customer Service, preferably within a detail oriented services context. Proficiency in Data Entry, with the ability to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Proven experience in Managing Timelines to ensure project deadlines are met. Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook for effective email communication and scheduling. Experience in creating and editing presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint. Demonstrated ability to draft, edit, and format documents in Microsoft Word. Organizational skills specifically relating to file management, both digital and physical. Experience in Scanning documents and maintaining digital records. Knowledge of Shipping Functions to facilitate the physical distribution of documents or goods.
