We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work with, evaluate and assess automation projects to enhance & expedite mechanization and automation processes. You will provide support to the Continuous Improvement & Project Management teams at the site.
Essential Duties:
Tie workflow to schedule.
Manage all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks.
Diagnose errors or technical problems & determine proper solutions.
Produce timely & detailed service reports where needed.
Document processes and SOPs.
Explore new initiatives and ideation and bring those to life.
Ensure that documentation is sufficiently comprehensive and clear, from onset.
Monitor project status and identify issues/risks.
Define & track project success metrics and KPIs.
Train others on equipment operation.
Make suggestions to management for improvement whether in this position or work processes.
Work safely, observe safety rules, policies and procedures, and identify any unsafe conditions or actions, reporting them to management.
Follow all company procedures and protocols.
Build positive relationships.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelors' degree, or working towards a degree, and 1-2 years' related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control role.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear reporting of findings.
Working knowledge of all Windows desktop operations (MS Office).
Bilingual Spanish a plus but not required.
