Find your future with us.Boeing Global Services (BGS) an Experienced Security System Administrator to join our team in Sacramento, CA .This role plays a critical part in ensuring the safety and security of our facility in Sacramento, California. As part of the team, you'll be responsible for the administration, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our security access system, CCTV system, and other connected systems. Attention to detail, accountability, and personal motivation are paramount for success in this role.Position Responsibilities:

Installation, decommissioning, and troubleshooting of Windows-based workstations and servers

Maintain and upgrade x86 desktop systems

Configuration and troubleshooting of routers, switches, and network equipment

Installation, maintenance, and termination of twisted-pair and fiber communication media

Installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CCTV, access control systems, intrusion detection, and motion sensors

Management of Active Directory user accesses

A semiannual 3rd-party medical qualification physical examination is required as part of this position to ensure compliance with safety standards

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires an active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) U.S. Security Clearance with an adjudicated Counterintelligence or Full Scope Polygraph (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.).Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

4+ years’ Windows system administrator experience, including Exchange and Active Directory

2+ years’ experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Excel)

Security + or higher certification

Willingness to occasionally be available for on-call emergency system maintenance

Ability to lift/carry up to 35 pounds; push/pull using up to 45 pounds of force; and reach overhead up to six hours per day

Able to walk constantly throughout the workday; stand 6-8 hours per day; climb or work from stairs/steps up to 8 hours per day; climb ladders; bend and twist frequently up to six hours per day; squat and kneel

Ability to operate aerial work platform and boom lift equipment

History of aiding others with troubleshooting and helpdesk-type issue resolution

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience or knowledge of SAP

Experience with facility alarms, CCTV, and controlled access systems

Proficiency in record-keeping and journal entries

Experience with installing CCTV cameras, HID card readers, and motion sensors

Prior experience with installation of Windows workstations, servers, and network-attached storage (NAS)

History of training others and leading on-the-job training of system users

Experience with remote management of workstations, servers, and network switches

Knowledge of off-line system and software updates

Ability to read and interpret maps, building floor plans, and wiring diagrams

Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
