OverviewGovCIO is currently hiring for Senior Business Analyst to manage analyst activities for a scrum team, including management of epics and user stories, story refinement and grooming, requirements documentation, and impact analysis and workflows. This position will be remote; the customer is located in Washington D.C. so close proximity and occasional travel to the customer location would be a plus.ResponsibilitiesCoordinates with business and technology teams, ascertaining system requirements, such as program functions, data requirements , and system impacts. Provides technical/functional expertise in identifying, evaluating, developing, and supporting systems. They have the business knowledge and perspective of a particular business and the IT needs of that customer. Requires knowledge of computer system capabilities, business processes, and work flows. Ability to produce requirements documentation and with working with business and technical teams to define integration points.
Analyzes business and technical processes to define business, functional, and system requirements for a complex system with data integrations.
Interfaces between systems architects/programmers and users to ensure that information technology designs meet the needs of the end users within an organization, with the use of requirements elicitation, workflows, and mockups
Documents product/service requirements and develops test procedures to ensure user requests are carried out. Responsible for functional verification and demo's to business.
Interacts with testing requirements to ensure traceability and test coverage. May assist with testing if needed.
Requires general-logic knowledge of system capabilities without necessarily the ability to program.
Draft user stories, lead grooming sessions and refinement activities for user stories, and work closely with Product Owner.
QualificationsBachelor's with 12+ years (or commensurate experience)Required Skills and Experience
Agile development including epics and user stories, and refinement activities.
Independently work with Product Owners to define requirements, workflows, and mockups. Prepare and lead grooming activities for assigned user stories.
Ability to analyze all aspects and impacts of a user story, using mockups, flows, checklists, RTMs, to ensure that all impacts are assessed completely.
Leading demo's to Product Owner and business staff. Performing functional verification of changes testing in both the Development, Test, and UAT environments.
Leading UAT activities and resolutions.
Clearance Required: Must be able to acquire and maintain PBGC Public Trust.
