By joining our team, you will play a key role in transforming the Government and Public Services marketplace by helping our clients uncover hidden relationships from vast troves of data and modernize their AI landscape.Work you'll doThe Senior Data Modernization Consultant will provide technical expertise, support, direction, and oversight, and drive data modernization efforts for our State and Local government clients. They will be responsible for collaborating with executive level clients and stakeholders on business needs and delivering top quality technical solutions in Cloud Data Migrations, Data Management, and ArchitectureThe teamDeloitte's Government and Public Services (GPS) practice - our people, ideas, technology and outcomes-is designed for impact. Serving federal, state, & local government clients as well as public higher education institutions, our team of over 15,000+ professionals bring fresh perspectives to help clients anticipate disruption, reimagine the possible, and fulfill their mission promise.The GPS AI & Data (AI&D) offering is responsible for developing advanced analytics products and applying data visualization and statistical programming tools to enterprise data in order to advance and enable the key mission outcomes for our clients. Our team supports all phases of analytic work product development, from the identification of key business questions through data collection and ETL, and from performing analyses and using a wide range of statistical, machine learning, and applied mathematical techniques to delivery insights to decision-makers. Our practitioners give special attention to the interplay between data and the business processes that produce it and the decision-makers that consume insights.QualificationsRequired:

Bachelor's Degree Required with majors in Biomedical Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or business-related field preferred

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

5+ years of professional experience in data engineering, ETL, Python, SQL

1+ years of experience consulting in State and/or Local government space

1+ years of experience in Cloud Data Engineering including GCP, Databricks, Snowflake

3+ years of experience in data management, data modeling, data warehouse design and/or data architecture

Preferred:

Master's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Biomedical Science, or business-related field

Deep, existing client relationships within the State and Local Government space

Familiarity with Agile project management principles
