Job Posting: Visual and Live Stream Production AnalystState Teachers' Retirement SystemJC-416466-Visual and Live Stream Production AnalystASSOCIATE GOVERNMENTAL PROGRAM ANALYST$5,684.00 - $7,114.00 per MonthFinal Filing Date: 2/27/2024Job Description and DutiesThe CalSTRS Communications Division is seeking a motivated individual to work as an Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) on the Visual and Live Stream Production Team.The Communications Division provides strategic communications, targeted messaging and CalSTRS benefits information through a variety of delivery channels focused on creating increased awareness among members, employers, employees and various other stakeholders. Communications offers the following services to create clear, engaging communications: digital signage, webinars, writing and editing, graphic design, internal and external communications, media/press relations, external relations, publications, building signage, email newsletters, television/video services and broadcast, social media and website content. Communications also regularly assesses the reputation and organizational risk environment pertaining to issues where CalSTRS has potential exposure in order to develop effective mitigation strategies and action plans.Under direction of the Visual and Live Stream Production Manager (Staff Services Manager I), the AGPA independently performs complex analytical and technical tasks associated with video production, photography, and providing control room production support for live streaming events. Duties require analysis and the use of judgement to produce content following CalSTRS brand standards.The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
Professional video production experience, including a technical knowledge of video editing in Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects.
Professional photography knowledge and experience.
Experience in live event video production for an organization.
Ability to apply excellent time management skills used for efficient completion of projects, prioritize competing assignments, and meet deadlines.
Ability to maintain cooperative relations and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all levels of staff, management and external clients.
Ability to effectively manage work projects, collaborating with management and staff throughout the organization for accurate and timely work products.
Ability to work independently, as well as a member of a team.
Reliable and dependable.
Ability to solve problems, promote new ideas and develop new approaches to achieve established vision and strategies.
Every 12 months, based on performance evaluation, employees may receive a 5% salary increase until they reach the maximum salary for the position.Telework Information: We offer a hybrid approach including 2 days in-office and 3 days remote work solutions with staff working on-site at our Headquarters in West Sacramento.Does this opportunity seem right for you?
