1.You only want to make cocktails. Our team is small which means Bartenders not only make cocktails, pour wine and beer but also serve, bus tables, run food, buff glassware & take out trash.
2.We are in a small town and business can be unpredictable – from slammed to mellow to slow.
3.Our selection of liquors is curated – we do not carry all the big name, EZ-Button “go-to’s”.
Responsibilities:
Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Craft high-quality cocktails with precision and consistency
Provide exceptional service and engage with guests to enhance their experience
Maintain an extensive knowledge of our cocktail menu, wine selection, and spirits
Keep the bar area clean, organized, and fully stocked
Follow all safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service protocols
Collaborate with the team to develop seasonal cocktail, wine & food menus
Prepare and serve bar snacks from the kitchen
Process transactions on POS system accurately, honestly and efficiently
Qualifications:
2+ years of bartending experience preferred
Extensive knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, and wine
Enthusiasm for hospitality and creating a welcoming environment
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude
CA RBS and/or Food Handlers certification is a plus
Must be at least 21 years old
Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, wine, and spirits
Ability to multitask, work well under pressure and excel with little supervision
