Production Assistant Job Description
Pachamama Coffee is a California-based roaster and retailer of specialty coffee owned by thousands of family farmers in Latin America and Africa. A global cooperative, Pachamama was founded in 2006 by coffee farmers in Peru, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Mexico and Ethiopia, in order to market their coffee through a vertically-integrated (seed to cup) business model. Based in Sacramento, Pachamama is growing fast with local cafes, a national wholesale business and a direct-to-consumer online platform.

Location: El Dorado Hills, CA
Position: Part Time, in person. 20 hours per week, Tuesday through Friday, afternoons/evenings. This is an entry level position with strong growth potential.
Starting pay: $17.00 per hour.
Core Responsibilities
Package roasted coffee.
Perform set up and take down procedures for coffee packing equipment.
Maintain production logs.
Assist in maintaining production facility cleanliness and orderliness.
Assist in maintaining conditions to facilitate compliance with food safety and workplace safety regulations.

Thorough work with a sense of productivity and the ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to reliably adhere to work schedules.
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
Ability to climb stairs while carrying 20 pounds.
Basic computer proficiency required.
