Local, family owned Italian restaurant, market and deli in business for 20+ years dedicated to providing amazing food and service. Our deli team makes over 100 sandwiches a day in a very fast paced, fun, and energizing atmosphere. A positive attitude and a passion for providing great service to customers and teammates is a must.
Job Overview/Responsibilities
This position is for a deli team member (leadership position available for qualified candidate) and the duties are as follows:
-Prepare, assemble and package food for customers; including making sandwiches, slicing meats and cheeses, serving to-go items
-Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately and timely
-1yr + deli or relative experience
-Provide outstanding customer service at all times.
-Demonstrate a positive attitude and great teamwork.
-Ability to work collaboratively in a team oriented environment
-Have/obtain Food Handlers Certificate
-Must be at least 18yrs of age
Rate of pay is dependent on experience/position (daily tips available).
Prefer candidates who would like 30-40 hours weekly and are available any day
Typical shift is 9am-5pm
