Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in our kitchen. Your role is crucial in ensuring a smooth and efficient operation by keeping dishes, utensils, and equipment clean and organized.
Duties:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand
- Ensure all items are properly cleaned, sanitized, and stored
- Assist with food preparation as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, including countertops, sinks, and floors
- Empty trash containers regularly
- Assist with bussing tables and cleaning dining areas
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination
- Adhere to safety and sanitation regulations at all times
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills to keep track of dishware and utensils
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with the kitchen team
