Position: kitchen Manager
Location: Sacramento, CA
Schedule: Wednesday – Sunday, 7:00 – 4PM
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate (based on experience)
About Us
We run a fast-paced, team-oriented, and community-focused bakery, known for high-quality baked goods, sandwiches and a welcoming atmosphere. We’re looking for a dedicated and experienced kitchen Manager to join our team and help lead daily operations while ensuring excellence in customer experience, product quality, and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Manage bakery staff, including bakers, front-of-house, and back-of-house teams
Oversee inventory management and ordering of ingredients and supplies
Ensure excellent quality and consistency in all baked goods
Handle customer service and maintain a positive, welcoming atmosphere
Schedule and manage production efficiency to optimize workflow
Lead marketing and promotions, including menu decisions and seasonal product planning
Ensure food safety compliance and uphold sanitation standards
Collaborate on business growth opportunities and promotional initiatives
Qualifications:
Baking experience preferred; restaurant experience is also acceptable
Management experience is required
Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Passion for food, hospitality, and community engagement
Must provide three references from most recent jobs
Must pass background check
