Our Palm Springs inspired concept restaurant and bar, Shangri-la, is in the final phases of construction and our Fair Oaks grand opening is approaching. This will be a multifaceted venue including an upscale restaurant, indoor/outdoor bar, and a private event space. Outdoor features include a 6,000 sq/ft patio with two bocce ball courts and three fire pits. Locally sourced, chef driven food with a fine dining approach, original craft cocktails, and quality beer and wine programs are the driving features of Shangri-las brand of excellence.
We are located in charming Fair Oaks Village near Sunrise Blvd and Winding Way. We are set to be open 6 days a week Tues-Sun for dinner service With future plans of weekend brunch. Menu concept is Family Style so all plates are designed to be shared.
We are looking for professional and experienced individuals who thrive on delivering memorable guest experiences and are dedicated to the continuous evolution of their craft. Fine dining experience is preferred but not a must. Rock stars with a positive mindset, willingness to learn and desire to provide the highest standards of service are encouraged to apply. Applicants must have:
Two years previous restaurant experience fine dining preferred.
Comprehensive food knowledge.
Ability to quickly and accurately retain menu knowledge.
Experience working in a professional kitchen.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Personal responsibility for overall guest experience.
Flexible attitude that fosters cohesive work environment and promotes Shanghai-las positive company culture.
Open availability strongly preferred.
