The caregiver room is a brand new private accommodations with access to a bathroom.
Position Summary
The caregiver will provide direct care and supervision to residents, assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), and support the overall operation of the home. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, warm-hearted, and enjoys working with seniors.
Responsibilities
-Assist residents with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and feeding).
-Provide companionship and emotional support.
-Monitor and record changes in residents’ condition and report to the administrator.
-Administer and document medications (per RCFE training and regulations).
-Prepare and serve meals according to residents’ dietary needs.
-Maintain a clean, organized, and safe living environment.
-Assist with laundry, light housekeeping, and resident activities.
-Follow Title 22 regulations and facility policies at all times.
Qualifications
-Must be 18 years or older.
-Prior experience in elderly care or RCFE setting preferred.
-Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willing to obtain).
-Live Scan fingerprint clearance (DOJ/FBI).
-Health screening and TB clearance.
-RCFE caregiver training (40-hour initial training preferred).
-Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
