JOB WILL START THE WEEK OF JANUARY 4TH 2026
Upscale 6 bed all woman residential care facility in Carmichael looking for a full time (36-48 hours a week) caregiver to work the day shift. Shifts are 12 hours 7:30am - 7:30pm. Shifts are typically scheduled 2 days on, 2 days off. More hours may become available as needed. We are a 24 hour 7 days a week business, you will be scheduled weekends and holidays if that is how the schedule rotation falls.
We are not a cash pay or "under the table" business. Payroll is ran, taxes are paid and you are paid via direct deposit twice a month. You are also required to fill out all state required paperwork, legal employee handbook and our facility is under 24 hour video surveillance for the safety of our residents.
Compensation:
$16.50 Hourly (8 hours - regular pay rate)
$24.75 Hourly (4 hours - overtime pay rate)
Double time rate applies after working 12 consecutive hours
Job Requirements:
Clean Criminal Background Check - if you are not able to pass a background check with the state of CA and the Department of Social Services you will not be cleared to continue.
CPR and First Aid Certified

3 SOLID references are required for employment
SCRUBS AND APPROPRIATE WORK SHOES ARE REQUIRED.
Job Duties Include:
Multitasking Caring For 6 Residents
Calm and Attentive Attitude
Continence Care
Bathing/Showering
Light House Keeping
Preparing Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Dispensing Medications
Charting medications, vitals and shift notes.
Comfortable With Hospice and Bed Bound Residents
Familiar with medical devices such as oxygen, Hoyer lift, scales ect.

This is not a live-in position.
You are paid via payroll through accounting (not a cash position).
