Adult Day Health Care Program is a licensed community-based day health program that provides services to older persons and adults with chronic medical, cognitive, or mental health conditions and/or disabilities that are at risk of needing institutional care.
LCSW Consultant duties include:
- Providing consultation services to the center staff (primarily to medical social work staff) for a minimum of three hours each month and documenting the consultation services.
- Providing psychiatric/psychological consultation to participants when the participant’s diagnosis or medical history indicates mental health, emotional or behavioral problem.
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team when psychiatric/psychological consultation is recommended by the center staff or the participant’s physician.
Position qualification:
- A Licensed Clinical Social Worker, licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences
- A Doctorate in Psychology from an accredited university or licensed as such by the California Board of Psychology
- CPR and First Aid certificate
