Construction Office Admin / Project Coordinator
Process accounts payable, cost code A/P invoices, enter invoices into Sage, set up new vendors in Sage and obtain W-9 forms. Request lien waivers from subcontractors and their vendors. Request and review subcontractor’s insurance certificates and licenses. Pre-lien jobs, obtain business licenses, issue and track return of subcontracts, project closeouts, archive completed jobs. Assist Project Managers and Office Manager and perform other duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Education Required:
High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to interact with all levels of management, customers, officials, and subcontractor’s.
A/P experience in construction preferred.
Knowledge of construction accounting procedures and practices including lien waivers.
Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, SAGE 100 Contractor preferred.
Multi-line telephone, keyboard skills, ten key by touch, fax, copier, scanner.
Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
Ability to sit for long periods of time, bend, reach and twist.
$20.00+ per hour, depending upon relevant experience, 401k with 3% matching, 2 weeks PTO accrued annually, Medical and Dental premiums paid 100% by company for employee and dependents. Great work environment.
