About the Role:
We are seeking a resourceful and proactive Executive Assistant to support a successful investor, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills who can manage a wide variety of responsibilities with discretion and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
The Executive Assistant will work closely with the principal – a highly active senior citizen business owner and community leader. He manages investment properties and engages in philanthropic, civic, and political endeavors. He is a former school board trustee of 23 years and now oversees a 501 (c)(3) foundation supporting charitable and community initiatives, including several local Cub Scout and Scouting America programs.
Responsibilities include:
Providing administrative and clerical support
Handling scheduling, correspondence, and filing
Conducting research and drafting reports
Attending meetings and assisting with follow-up
Running errands and providing driving support
Assisting with political and community service activities
Light Bookkeeping
Qualifications:
Experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar support role
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
Strong writing and research skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Familiarity with political, educational, or nonprofit environments is a plus
College degree preferred
