We are looking for Experienced Laborers to join our team!
Responsibilities / Qualifications:
· Perform tasks as it pertains to but not limited to loading and unloading materials, movement, or placement of materials such as dirt, and aggregate, support with trench digging and closure, and placement of underground pipe and fittings.
· Work around heavy equipment and machinery which includes but not limited to hand digging and locating underground obstructions.
· Laying pipe of various sizes and configurations.
· Responsible for general site cleanup and elimination of possible site hazards.
· Operate hand and power tools of all types.
· Assemble materials on the ground as well as assist other crew members as needed.
· Maintain visual and audible contact with other crew members and all moving and stationary vehicles/equipment to ensure safety at all times.
· Possess working knowledge of occupational hazards and proper safety precautions involved in demolition, grading, paving, wet utility installation and concrete. Must be able to comply with all company, state and federal safety policies and procedures.
· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently to complete tasks.
· The ability to read and interpret construction documents is a plus.
· Minimum of 1-year general engineering experience required.
· Ability to squat, crawl and work in awkward and confined spaces.
· Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time.
· Ability to perform heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling of materials weighing 50 lbs.
· Ability to work in extreme weather conditions such as heat, cold and rain.
· Possess a valid California Driver's License and have reliable transportation as job sites change regularly.
· Must be 18 years of age or older.
· Must be able to work weekends and overtime as needed.
Benefits:
$22 to $30 Per Hour Depending on Experience
