Seeking Heavy Equipment Operator for local greater Sacramento family owned and operated business. Must have 3-4 years progressive excavating experience, and capable of operating (or quickly learning to operate) dozer, scraper, grader, backhoe and water truck. Must have clean driving record and reliable transportation to Galt. Work truck will be provided.
Most of our projects include, agriculture and infrastructure & repair. Scope includes but is not limited to:
Irrigation, pipeline installation and repair,
Drainage & ditch cleaning and digging,
Pond building & cleaning,
Pad & levee building & repair,
Grading and leveling,
Culvert installation and replacement.
Overtime is required as are most Saturdays during heavy season months. Competitive Hourly Pay based on experience level. 5 - day paid "probationary" period to determine skill set and determine actual FT salary. Medical offered during open enrollment period. Eligible for vacation after year 1.
