We are a leading construction materials and equipment transportation company operating throughout the Sacramento and surrounding areas. We are accepting applications for a Heavy Duty Mechanic to be based out of our Rancho Cordova, CA yard. This is a great opportunity to join a growing and successful group.
Responsibilities and Duties
Preventative Maintenance
Trouble Shooting/Diagnosing equipment
Oil Changes on Trucks
Must have knowledge of Air Brake System, Spring and Air Suspension Systems, Welding and/or Fabricating
Electrical systems including starters and alternators - ECM's, ECU's sensors
HVAC systems
Steering systems
Overall general maintenance of trailers
General maintenance for cab and chassis
California 90 day BIT
Accurately completes written record of work performance
Maintains a clean work and shop area
Communicates with drivers & customers regarding DVIR's (Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports)
Be able to work well with others and work alone on projects
