Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Generator Mechanic to join our team on a part-time basis (with a possibility to go full time). The ideal candidate will have expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of generators and small engines, ensuring they operate reliably and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair issues with portable, standby, and industrial generators.
Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections.
Test and inspect generators for proper functionality after repairs.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Provide clear communication with customers about repair needs and service updates.
Accurately document all repairs and parts used.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a generator mechanic or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of generator systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
Familiarity with tools and diagnostic equipment for generator repair.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
