Duties:
Structural welders perform various tasks to ensure the strength, integrity, and safety of structures such as bridges, pipelines, and buildings. Their responsibilities include:
Adhering to project deadlines for welding tasks.
Collaborating with fabricators, engineers, and other team members.
Communicating project requirements, progress, and any issues or concerns.
Ensuring compliance with quality control procedures and standards.
Achieving proper weld penetration, quality, and adherence.
Following safety protocols and using personal protective equipment (PPE).
Handling and storing welding consumables, materials, and gases safely
Read and understand materials and welding specs per contract documents
Understand WPS
Analyze reports
