Description Payroll Manager needed to support a leave of absence! This contract role will be 3-6 months in duration. This role is hybrid with some onsite work. Apply today for consideration! How you will contribute:
Manage escalated payroll issues
Manage payroll vendor activities
Prepare and process payroll data files and journal entries
Respond and manage tax notices, registrations, wage orders, and other government correspondences
Partner with Accounting, HR, and Finance departments for policy and operational support
Handle annual audits, reporting, and ad hoc analyses
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and minimum 6 years of payroll experience
Proficient in California state tax and wage & hour laws; multi-state and global payroll exposure preferred
Familiar with UKG or ADP Workforce Now
