The Accounting Manager role is to supervise, track and evaluate day-to-day activities of the accounting department. An overview of the responsibilities include establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting information.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
month and end-year process
accounts payable/receivable
general ledger, CAM reconciliations & budget process
payroll
lease administration
creating, documenting, and implementing policy and procedure for each area
evaluating current processes and software and keeping the department streamlined and up to date with technology.
Fielding employee and owner phone calls, emails & inquiries.
Evaluating staffing needs and workloads and offer suggestions for areas of improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS
Incumbents must demonstrate the ability to follow policies and procedures as established in Pacific Coast Commercial Employee Handbook. Incumbents will also contribute to a positive work environment by behaving and communicating in a manner such that they get along with all constituent groups, co-workers, and management.

EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GED required;
Bachelors degree in accounting or finance required
WORK EXPERIENCE
At least two years of supervisory experience of at least 2 or more employees.
KEY SKILLS SET
Knowledge of accounting, data and administrative management practices and procedures;
Knowledge of GAAP and its application
Knowledge of business and management principles.
Must exhibit a high level of confidentiality.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills and ability to meet tight deadlines;
Team player
EQUIPMENT AND APPLICATIONS
High proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
Working knowledge of all standard office equipment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
