We are a tax preparation office in Encinitas seeking a Data Input Specialist. This role requires inputting tax information accurately into tax software. Experience with Lacerte is helpful.
Responsibilities:
Inputting client tax documents into Lacerte Tax Software
Verify accuracy of data entered (W-2s, 1099s, 1098s, K-1s, etc.)
Maintain confidentiality with all client information
Qualifications:
Experience with data entry
Attention to detail and high accuracy with numerical data
Ability to stay organized with multiple client files
Basic understanding of common tax forms is a plus
Strong computer skills and fast data entry
Reliable, punctual, and able to work during peak season (Feb–April)
Schedule:
Seasonal: Starting February 9th, 2026

Compensation:
$20–$22/hr Depending on experience
