Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM/FINISH, Full Time, Weekends as needed
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years’ hands-on experience as a Plant Maintenance/Engineering Manager in a food production environment with strong technical knowledge of production equipment, pneumatics, hydraulics, refrigeration, electrical, and related equipment. Should have a proven record of leadership, program management, regulatory compliance with strong communication and organizational skills.
Proactively lead, supervise, and mentor maintenance and engineering staff to support facility, equipment, and property operations. Recruit, train, evaluate, develop, cross-train and manage employee performance.
Oversee maintenance, repair, inspection, and preventive maintenance of all production, utility, refrigeration, and support equipment.
Manage work orders, assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely, accurate completion of all maintenance activities
Maintain inspection schedules, equipment records, schematics, blueprints, manuals, and PSM documentation.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, GMPs, food safety, prerequisite programs, environmental compliance programs, and company policies.
Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary work areas; enforce PPE, confined space, chemical handling, and fall protection practices.
Conduct and document fire prevention and safety inspections of engineering areas.
Manage inventory, tools, equipment, keys, purchasing, and purchase order controls
Draft, update, and maintain standard operating procedures and maintenance manuals.
Plan and oversee plant projects, fabrication, capital projects, bids, and project expenditures.
Participate in emergency response activities and serve as 24/7 on-call emergency contact.
Prompt and regular attendance is required.

The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop. The employee must regularly push, pull; lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
