PART TIME INDEPENDANT ACCOUNTING POSITION
Approximately 15-25 hours per week as required/flexible
We are a Real Estate & Property Management company located in Kensington, San Diego. We pride ourselves on providing outstanding customer service to our clients, landlords, and tenants.
We are searching for an Accountant to be part of our team. This position will oversee 3 separate entities (landlords, HOAs, and corporate entities).
Duties:
Deposit Rents to Bank within 3 days of receipt per DRE guidelines
Record other deposits as required
Enter and pay vendor and utility invoices within terms
Reconcile multiple bank accounts
Prepare income & expense statements for landlords, HOAs, and corporate entity
Reconcile landlord owners statement and post corrections or collect deficiencies prior to closing property account.
Reconcile Trust account balances
Process ACH payments of rents to Landlords Monthly by deadline
Issue year end 1099s and other tax documents.
Work with CPA to prepare tax returns by deadline
Assist Landlords and HOAs with questions and resolve issues.
Job Requirements:
Accounting training a must (AA degree in accounting, accounting certificate, or similar)
Advanced experience with QuickBooks online a must
Experience with other accounting softwares a plus
