J Bravo and Associates is searching for a qualified and experienced Tax Preparer to join our team in La Mesa, California. This is a full-time, in-person position requiring a high level of proficiency in completing complex returns for clients with multiple corporations.
Key Requirements & Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional tax preparation experience, with specific expertise in handling high-income earning clients and clients with multiple corporations.
Software Proficiency: Must have a high level of proficiency using the Lacerte software for tax preparation.
Certification: An Enrolled Agent (EA license) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is strongly preferred.
Education: A 4-year college degree is required.
Reliability: Must be reliable, professional, and capable of managing a full-time workload.
Location: Must be able to work full-time and in-person at our office in La Mesa, CA.
Responsibilities:
Preparation and review of complex individual and corporate tax returns for a diverse client base.
Providing excellent client service and addressing tax-related inquiries.
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
