Priority RN is nurse owned and nurse operated. We are located in Carlsbad, Ca. Sharp Healthcare has asked our company to hire 20 call center employees to help with their health plan phone line. You will be receiving incoming calls from plan members who will be needing assistance with physician referrals, enrollment changes etc.
Ideal candidates must have at least 1 year of experience with working with BUSY incoming call centers for health plans (United, Medicare, etc.), be able to speak English fluently, ideally be bilingual, be reliable, be available Mon to Friday (830a to 5p) (schedule will be determined by the department.). You must be able to work FULL time and ANY of the shifts listed (8-5, 830-530, 9-6, etc).
Shifts will be in person at their Kearny Mesa facility or remote where they will provide you a computer and keyboard. If you are working remote you must have a dedicated work space with a super quiet environment where you would be uninterrupted.
You must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen (cannabis ok). You also must have had your original Covid vaccinations. (Sharp requires)
The location will be in Kearney Mesa at a Sharp corporate building. Training will be provided, but you must have familiarity with health plans as well as managing a busy phone line. This is for a 13 week contract, with the opportunity to extend. FULL time only

Pay is $21 per hour. Pay is every other Friday, with direct deposit is available.
You must be detailed oriented, have excellent customer service skills, and be reliable. Sharp will cancel your contract if you miss one day that is unexcused. They'd like you to be interested in staying in this position for a long time.
