We are Seeking an In-Home, reliable and fit Personal Assistant for a happy and active 25yr. old young man with severe autism.
The available shifts are Weekdays 8am to 2pm (Early Shift), 2pm to 9pm (Late Shift).
Early Shift responsibilities include instruction, protective supervision and assistance with daily living skills. Duties include meal prep, medication administration, bathroom assistance, dressing, light housekeeping, educational activities and accompanying client to the beach or park for lunch.
Late Shift responsibilities include protective supervision and assistance with daily living skills. Duties include meal prep, medication administration, dressing, light housekeeping, educational activities, bathing, accompanying client to various recreational activities, bathing and bedtime.
Candidate requirements include a B.A. degree and experience working with developmentally disabled individuals. ABA skills are a plus and continual training will be mandatory and provided in order to maintain client's happiness, cooperation and safety. Candidate must follow specific instructions and ABA protocol on a daily basis. Playful but firm nature is needed. High level of focus and attention to detail is required.
