We are a growing small business needs your help! We have an opening for an AutoCAD drafter who is capable of importing photo's/scans, tracing polylines, and laying the items out in multiple drawers to create a tool set. We are looking for a team player that's efficient and can multitask to prioritize projects and deliver drawings within the expected timeline.
This is a flexible position for the right person who has multiple skill sets to use in a creative, challenging environment. In this role you will also be creating 3D models for printing on our 3D printer occasionally as well as helping design new tools, assemblies or items that will be used in our tool sets (experience with these are not required, we can train). This position would start off in production assembling our tool kits and etching tools to get accustomed to what our company does and would then lead into helping with drafting.
We are looking for someone who knows AutoCAD very well but, does not necessarily have lots of experience, this is a great entry level position for someone very computer savvy or for someone looking to change fields.
Pluses for being bilingual with English and Spanish, positive attitude, high energy, knowledge of hand and power tools.
We have a talented, experienced team that can assist training the right person.
Required Qualifications:
Proficiency in AutoCAD drafting-1 year experience preferred
Proficiency in the following supplemental programs: Microsoft Word/Excel, Adobe Acrobat
Ability to work in a team setting as well as be self-motivate
Ability to organize, plan, and prioritize the workload
Ability to communicate effectively-oral and written
Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Clear background check
Basic knowledge of how to use hand and power tools
Team player willing to help in different departments as needed
