Job Description:
Under the direct supervision of the Survey Project Manager, this position will be responsible for:
Preparing and drafting various survey products including:
-Corner Records, Records of Surveys, ALTA’s, Easement Plats and Subdivision Maps
Researching title and mapping information
Using a variety of common software to prepare reports and deliverables, i.e. Word, Excel, Bluebeam
Coordinating and scheduling with contractors for construction staking projects
Preparing calculations and staking sheets for use by the field crews.
Performing quality control checks on staking projects and producing as-staked plots for contractors
Briefing field crews of daily tasks and providing support as their link between the field and the office
Assisting in the maintenance of survey equipment by coordinating service and repairs
Required Qualifications
On path to obtain licensure LSIT preferred or 2+ Years as a Party Chief
Ability to work with multiple disciplines and personalities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with construction staking processes and calculations
Knowledge of procedures and practices of boundary surveys and analysis
A valid CA drivers license and the ability to be insured by company’s policy
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with a mix of both field and office exposure preferred, but not required
Experience with AutoCAD Strongly preferred
Experience with Trimble Business Center, preferred, but not required
Knowledge of Public Agency processing requirements
